Hazardous Area Classification and Assessments

At c2o group, safety is a priority. Our hazardous area electricians ensure maintenance of the highest standards of safety for employees and communities that are in proximity to hazardous areas.

We help our clients, through hazardous area classification and assessment, to minimise the risk of electrical ignition sources in an explosive environment.

Our industrial technicians and engineers are trained to provide three types of inspections for electrical equipment:

• Detailed
• Visual
• Close

Hazardous Area Inspections are fully documented as part of the auditing of existing equipment including motors, light fittings, junction boxes and field instruments and provided to the client as a report on the status of their equipment.

If deemed necessary c2o group can repair or replace any non-compliant or faulty equipment and update hazardous area dossiers.
