As countries accelerate the shift toward cleaner and more resilient energy systems, the importance of modern, reliable transmission infrastructure has never been greater.

In this new video, Stephen Pepper, Managing Director of C2O Transmission (formerly RTS), Paul Buckley, CEO of C2O Group, together with Vince Kenny, special advisor to the C2O Board, share insights into the critical role transmission plays in enabling the energy transition — and the expertise required to deliver it.

Much of Australia’s transmission network was built 25–30 years ago. Today, the scale and pace of energy demand means that new infrastructure and upgraded networks are essential to support the future of energy. One of the most specialised aspects of transmission construction is conductor stringing, a highly skilled discipline requiring experienced crews who understand the complexity, safety and precision involved.

Through C2O’s global network, we are able to bring together highly skilled teams from around the world, ensuring our clients have the right expertise in place at critical moments in their projects. The video also showcases the scale of Project Energy Connect, a significant transmission development linking New South Wales and South Australia, which C2O Group is proud to be supporting with Elecnor Group.

At the heart of projects like this is trust — trust built through the expertise of our people, their work ethic and the strong relationships we build with our clients.

Because, as Stephen says, ‘there is no transition without transmission.’
