Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Commissioning Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform commissioning and start-up of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct functional and performance tests to ensure systems meet specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the commissioning process.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful project completion.
  • Document test results, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Trade or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical commissioning or a similar role.
  • Oil & Gas Experience
  • Powerplant commissioning experience
  • Gas turbine experience highly regarded
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Roster 10 days on 4 days off.
