Job Description:
As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be a key player in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and work crews. Your primary focus will be on new installations, upgrades, or repairs. You will collaborate with a team of electricians, providing guidance and technical expertise throughout the entire process.
Position Summary:
- The ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate during all phases of the project, Construction, completions, commissioning..
- Team Leadership: Supervise and direct a team of electricians, ensuring efficient and effective work execution.
- Safety Compliance: Review construction drawings and specifications to maintain compliance with codes and standards.
- System Testing: Conduct electrical testing to verify system functionality and safety.
- Problem-Solving: Diagnose issues and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Documentation: Create programs and schedules to track compliance with Life Safety codes and Joint Commission standards.
Qualification and Key skills:
- Cert III In Electrotechnology
- NSW Electrical License
- Experience: Proven work experience as an electrical supervisor or superintendent
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and managerial abilities.
- Technical Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with safety precautions related to electrical work.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail.
- License: Current open electrical license or restricted electrical license preferred.
Experience:
In addition to your Construction and Commissioning experience the below will be advantageous to your application.
