c2o Group acquire Omega Technical Services

c2o Group have acquired a majority stake in Omega Technical Services, an innovative Commissioning & Start Up Services provider covering North America, Mexico and Latin America regions. Founded by Chris Abrusley, an established Commissioning Services Leader with global Upstream, Midstream and Downstream experience, Omega Technical Services provides significant synergies with the c2o Group offering. Commenting on the acquisition, c2o Group CEO Paul Buckley sated,

“we have known Chris for over 8 years and have been impressed with his entrepreneurial capabilities to grow significant Commissioning Services businesses. The timing was right for both parties to come together to provide a holistic offering to the market – we look forward to continued success together”.

Chris Abrusley retains a minority stake in Omega Technical Services and is appointed to the Board of c2o Group as a Director Shareholder.

Pre-acquisition due diligence was supported by Dentons Australia & US, Mike Roy Associates and BMG Consulting LLC. Adds Arshad, c2o Group Director supported the transaction internally and will co-develop the business in the region with Chris Abrusley, who now assumes the role of President of Operations.
