Job Description:
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of equipment and systems. Your work may span various projects, including Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution Systems. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure successful project execution.
Location: Various Projects in Australia
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Implementation, oversee the construction, installation and commissioning of equipment and systems.
- Design and Development, create detailed engineering designs for systems and components.
- Collaboration, work closely with other engineers, clients and vendors to meet project goals.
- Quality Assurance, ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Problem-Solving, diagnose issues and troubleshoot equipment
- Budget Management, stick to allocated budgets while delivering reliable, high-quality systems
Qualifications/Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
- Project Engineering experience
- Minimum 3+ years industry proven experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Professional and collaborative mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in the below sectors:
- Oil & Gas Experience
- Powerplant Experience
- Gas Turbine Experience highly regarded
- Infrastructure Experience
- Hexagon or CCMS
Requirements:
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- Ability to meet additional project-specific requirements
