Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Commissioning Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform commissioning and start-up of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Conduct functional and performance tests to ensure systems meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the commissioning process.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful project completion.
- Document test results, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Trade or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical commissioning or a similar role.
- Oil & Gas Experience
- Powerplant commissioning experience
- Gas turbine experience highly regarded
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
